I need to get in on proposing solutions and drafting studies.

800 million would get us a new bridge...
Posted on 10/20/15 at 4:45 pm to TigerRob20
What was their counterplan?
Posted on 10/20/15 at 4:46 pm to wickowick
Hahaha, that is why Baton Rouge will continue to suck. You would think it was a city in Mississippi by how well it manages to hold itself back.

The panel can reject the plan, give its OK to move the proposal to the next step or seek more time to review it.
“They are not deciding yes or no on the project,” said Jeff Burst, project management director for the state Department of Transportation and Development.
“What they are doing is (asking), ‘Do we have enough information that it seems reasonably feasible to move to the next phase?’” Burst said.
Now where have I hear this?

Wonder which member of the "Louisiana Transportation Authority" owns all the land on the route of the other loop plan?

I'm telling you guys, BR fricked itself so bad letting small town guys with absolutely no foresight run this town for a long arse time and now we're paying the price.
And now small town assholes from the state want none of their tax dollars helping out the city folk

Daniel says inner loop no address key issue: traffic entering Baton Rouge on I-10 Bridge.
doesn't sound like complete doom and gloom. sounds like they're looking to improve the one-lane split first. that seems like the right approach--improve the split, then think about the loop.
