I support their right to protest. I just question what it's going to accomplish

Israel would like Western nations to take to the streets in support of Palestinians so that they will be guilt-tripped into taking the Palestinians as refugees and thus solving Israel's Gaza problem.

Nothing is ever what it seems. Manipulation runs so deep that people have a hard time identifying it because they peel one layer off but don't realize they've just reached another layer of BS.

Do they demand the deaths of their Jewish customers? Do they demand their female workers cover their hair? Not show their knees? Do they kill people at music festivals?

If not, then why are they showing support for a government which does?

I remember talking to a temp worker we had doing some translation work for us years back. He was a student at LSU. We were working on a U.S. State Department contract that required the translation work.

While chatting during lunch one day this grad student (mid-20's) just casually started telling the stories of how they used to throw rocks and molotov cocktails at the Israeli police and occasionally shoot across the border at night. He dropped it into the conversation like this was a normal thing. After lunch, my boss called me in the office and said "get him the frick out of our facility right now." I walked this dude out and he was completely befuddled about why.

First time I realized that one's personal experiences may not be viewed the same in other times and places as they are in the moment.

I'd be happy to tell you which restaurant but fear some of you dipshits will call for a boycott simply because these owners feel strongly about a situation none of us can relate to.

Please tell me if it’s Rouls. My Jewish family and I have always loved Roul’s burgers, but never knew he was one of those Muslims. I don’t want to give my money to someone who supports people who slaughter Jews. You can be pro Palestinian all you want, but when you start complaining about Israel, and don’t complain about Hamas and those other groups, then you’re not Pro Palestinian. You’re just a Nazi. frick Nazis. Expose them all. This country is totally ok with exposing “Nazis” abka conservative leaning people, but when the world faces real hateful actions from real Nazis, you frickers don’t want to say anything?

I’m very sorry to break this to you, but “ one of those kind of Muslims “ is basically all Muslims. I’m not saying they would pull the trigger or have blood lust, but 90+ % of Muslims, it being a CONQUEST religion, give tacit approval to other Muslims if the crime is committed against a Jew or “ infidel”. It’s a tribal “ ends justify the means “ Muslim thing. Killing Jews hardly even registers on their cognitive dissonance scale.

Not that it should surprise anyone - but WBRZ’s coverage of this event was VERY sympathetic toward the palestinians (lack of capitalization intentional), carrying the sob story of protestor relating her family’s “experience” during Israel’s current military activities.

(Edit: and no - this “oppressed person” hasn’t even been there to experience it.)

Where the hell do all these Muslims live in Baton Rouge?

It's a college town. If even 10% of LSU students support terrorist Hamas that's enough to have a good sized march.

You can both support Freedom of Assembly and recognize that the position of the protestors is laughably bad.

I hope you realize that the Palestinian people were already there before Jews took over. Jewish people came over and bought the land from the owners which was already being leased by Palestinian people for a long time. That's what started the conflict

Can we all just bask in the irony that the same people who were calling everyone Nazi’s for not being aligned with them are now actually aligning themselves with the values of the Nazis?

You can tack on the end that they are also calling the Jews nazis.
