Walt I never thought your life could get any more miserable but it seems to have continued to.

I’ve been hurting in my elbow increasing in pain as weeks go on now.

Also, my arms and hands are sometimes numb when I wake up to the point of barely being able to move them. I’m worried about blood clots.

You are likely clutching something while you sleep. Sounds like tendonitis.

elbow

Maybe tennis elbow or similar inflammation.

I have the numb hands. I think I may be old.

Sounds like Ulnar nerve Thought I had issue with nerve in my elbow. Same symptoms. Pinky and portions of my ring finger would go numb Turned out it was actually the nerve pinching in my neck.

Bingo. Trapped Ulnar nerve.

I had the same symptoms. Went to a neurologist and had a nerve test between my wrist and elbow. This indicated a slowed response at an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10, which pointed to acute carpal tunnel syndrome. Two weeks later had surgery and I’ve been good several years now. Good luck!

Mine was carpal tunnel too. Doc said surgery or wear wrist braces at night. The braces worked for me.

I had similar and found that I have a nerve impingement in my neck. Physical therapy helped getting through it.

Of course not.

But what do you tell your kids? No ramen tonight because Daddy's got a bum elbow?
