Been reading about it. This has the potential to be huge. Doctors in cahoots with pharmacists to waive co-pays after they steer patients. Then get paid by insurance a thousand dollars per bottle or tube.

Yea, those POS deserve to get fricked by the long dick of the law.

what the frick is "pain cream"

Cream prescribed for pain by doctors. Made in compounnd pharmacy and applied directly to the area.
Insurance would pay too much and pharmacy vwould overfill.

Basically, if you twist your ankle you may need 5 grams to last for a few days.....instead, pharmacy gives you a 6 month tube and charges your insurance thousands.

That's just an example...there are a TON of laws that govern compounds and of course docs/patients/claims/medical necessity, etc

I'm not doubting the validity of the story but the Hattiesburg Patriot is run by a complete hack. frick that site. It's like the Hayride but even worse.

I know he's a little out there but there hasn't been anything he's posted that has been false yet. I hope this isn't as bad as what he's reporting because I've got some "acquaintances" involved.

I'm willing to bet white collar crime like this has robbed way more $$ than thugs have ever stole holding up convenience stores.

I'd argue that fleecing giant insurance companies is less harmful to communities than armed robbery and burglary though.

If you followed the 2012 Hattiesburg mayoral race you'd know what I was talking about. Just incredibly biased. I made a passing Facebook comment about it and the guy running it sent me private messages telling me to "go the frick back to Louisiana." Not exactly journalistic integrity.

Not for someone with serious cheese. I think he's talking about it because of the alleged fraud.
