Sorry Breesus. Thought folks here would be excited about a scandal.

If you followed the 2012 Hattiesburg mayoral race you'd know what I was talking about. Just incredibly biased. I made a passing Facebook comment about it and the guy running it sent me private messages telling me to "go the frick back to Louisiana." Not exactly journalistic integrity.

I did follow it. I didn't see much bias--mostly reporting of facts and calling bad behavior out. And he's not exactly a journalist. He's a whistleblower/blogger. He seems to fill an important role in that city.

I'd argue that fleecing giant insurance companies is less harmful to communities than armed robbery and burglary though.

Crime is crime.
I wish these white collar criminals would get the full extent of the law and punishment, like 10-20 years in a state prison, as opposed to light sentences in federal country club prisons.

I don't give a frick how much somebody's clothes cost. I do give a frick if someone bought ridiculous shite by fricking over innocent people for huge profit.

How can we get excited when you post nothing about what happened or a link to find out.

You're right, it's not. The news in Hattiesburg won't cover it (so I'm told) until the indictments come down.

That's moronic.

If someone smokes a doobie it isn't anywhere in the same vicinity of beating up an elderly woman for her silverware.

Both are "crimes"

Let me clarify myself, stealing is stealing.
Bilking the public of millions via insurance companies or fraudulent government contracts, etc. is as harmful to all of us , if not more, in the long run as the routine fast food restaurant hold up that nets $500.

So when a 11 year old lifts a candy bar it's the same as someone breaking into your house and taking your TV.

Man, you're one of those people that believes that pirating movies is the same as stealing a car, aren't you?

Then get paid by insurance 1200, 2500, 3500 dollars per bottle or tube depending on size and use

BUT Obamacare was supposed to fix these type of shenanigans.

I don't know why the OP is being mysterious, there was a big thread here when the warrants were served. Here's the news LINK

I first heard about this from someone in the field more than a month ago; it's definitely got some people talking.

I am familiar with this topic, and I agree that it's on rocky moral ground, but on the other hand I doubt anyone goes down hard for this. Pain creams actually work for patients, if Medicare and other insurance companies were set up for these payments to be made then so be it. There's plenty of options physicians can choose from to help patients, if this option helps a patient and pays them well, then it's going to be hard to stop that until the payments aren't there anymore. More of our tax dollars being abused by our wonderful government. Hope and change people. Hope and change.
