This will be the 3rd time in 2 months they will voluntarily shut off my power. And all three have been more than 48 hours when they initially announced a 24 hour shut off. The last shut off was from Friday through Monday.

It is nice to be able to watch the end of the Sunday and Monday night games and shower and get ready for bed all before 9pm

Just sucks when you don’t have power to watch the prime time games.

My sister has had her power turned off at least 3 times since they started this.

At least all that dry brush left in it’s natural state because muh environment will no longer be lit ablaze by California’s failing infrastructure.

You can thank the state government for telling the power company to spend money on green energy not cutting right of way and upgrading infrastructure.

Good luck. I have a rechargeable battery that takes 120v plugs LINK. When power is out we plug in the internet to it. Works great.

As long as it’s not blazing hot or freezing cold we don’t mind at all.

Camping lights are kind of annoyingly bright, I need a better lighting solution. We cook on the gas stove so it works too.

Do Californians still think it is a good idea to blame wildfires on the power company so they can sue the company into bankruptcy? I’ll bet not so many of them are convinced that was a good idea any more.

Cause and effect aren’t strong with Cali citizens IMHO.

They will likely blame PG&E for everything and not take into account that the state buffaloed them into deferring maintenance and investing heavily into inefficient “green” tech instead of doing what they needed to for the power to keep flowing.

Much like OP blaming PG&E and not the people whose policies lead to wildfires.

You can do that anywhere in the timezone, though.

Oh I completely blame the state, but PG&E and the state go hand in hand. The idiots should tell the state “frick you im cutting these trees off my transmission lines”
