I love that feeling though. It's like a day long reminder that you kicked arse yesterday.

Man, I can't wait to do those workouts.

I hate them and can't complete any yet. Well except The Challenge. But I keep pushing play and hope by the second month I'll be at least capable of performing all of the moves. I can't plow. Just not flexible enough.

Plow? Is that the move right before shoulder stands?
Posted on 4/10/14 at 1:08 am to JJ27
Yeah, we do that before shoulder stands in X2 Yoga. It just takes time. Make sure you don't put a lot of pressure on your neck (I'm sure Tony says that).

Day 4 and I'm feeling great.
I'm definitely a lot more hungry all day but I have been pounding water and if I'm still hungry, I'll make a quick protein shake which usually solves it.
Got the Challenge today. Gonna start with 20/10 and go from there.

Isometrics was pretty good. Intense. I'm feeling
more balanced and flexible in only my 4th week.
I actually love being sore the next day.

I can feel myself getting carved when I do Iso. I love that workout.

That's great. Isometric exercises are tough.

What is a typical day of eating for you? Just curious as I am in week 2, and have had to fight off hunger. I don't think I was getting enough calories, so I've tried to fill the space with fruit and protein shakes.
Wait till you get to Day 5 (CVX). Just did that for the 2nd time and it's a helluva workout.

Yeah, I think I either went too heavy on CVX or else had some bad form on the atlas twists or side reach jumps. Back is pretty damn sore.
But not in an injured way, just muscular. Accelerator today. [cringe].
It is pretty amazing to see the progress from one week to the next as far as ability to do the exercises correctly and as close to 100% as possible. I *thought I was in decent shape before I started but the first few days was a huge wake up call. Pretty much breathing as heavily as possible toward the end, some degree of half-assing, and not moving for a while after it was over.
But already feeling much much better.
I've done all kinds of running and lifting in the past, but I don't think I've done any of this kind of plyo, twisto, stuff since boot camp, maybe since HS football...and maybe never to some degree, like the yoga type stuff.

Same here, is there an alternate move to do until the flexibility gets there. I was able to do the crow this week though.

Knocked out CVX this morning and it is an arse kicker! This is my favorite of the workouts so far. When I'm finished I'm soaked with sweat and worn out... and it feels awesome. Almost done with week 2.

Good job. Keep going, Tom.

Me too, the wife and I started last Monday and both of us already feel much better. It's pretty incredible how quick P90X can turn your health around. The agility X is pretty hard on my knees so I may need to sub out that work out in the near future. Any of you work out gurus have any suggestions to strengthen the knees?
