I did a 5k in Colorado yesterday. Running at 5,000 ft above sea level is tough

This is my first time checking in. Doc is my coach too. I'm in the middle of week 2... just finished the Challenge this morning.
I had a "false start". I did a week, spring break week hit, so I started over last week. I've already seen improvement in my rep numbers.

I'm entering the 4th week (transition) and dealing with some health issues. Shingles, hernia, but you know what? I'm pushing ahead...

Isometrix tonight.

What's a good post workout drink if I don't like the beach body one?

I'm sure any protein drink would suffice after resistance type days. But, read the labels. Some are high in cholesterol.

Notice the Beachbody one only has 10 grams of protein, but a lot of carbs? Why? Because it replaces the glycogen that was used in the workout. So, if you stop taking it, make sure you eat a piece of toast or a carrot (or any fibrous carbohydrate) after your workout.

I use Combat Muscle Pharm Hybrid Series, but I just drink it twice a day (I don't take it after workouts).

So in a pinch a piece of toast and a glass of milk basically..

Yeah, I like the Combat because it has fast, medium and slow absorbing proteins. I've gained quite a bit of muscle recently.

Good luck!

Look into drinking Almond Milk (unsweetened). No fat, no sugar.

Yeah. I'm still young (30), but bad eating habits wrecked me. I'm so fit now. My six pack is looking better every day. And it's all thanks to the little things.

What are some of the differences between P90x-3 & T-25?

I'm trying to decide between the two.
