No way they don't ruin the brand

Why would they ruin the brand? They already operate several upscale brands.

I never understood going to ruth's when you could easily have a steak at sullivans for the same price and it's 15x better.

Giving Darth a run for worst take in the thread.

I've actually had a couple of decent meals there but as is the case with most franchises, there's a lack of consistency from location to location

That’s no joke. I always booked that Marriott when I was in town. I could stumble out of any of those places to my room. That burger place that’s there now is pretty legit tho.

Sullivan's has my favorite ribeye in BR.

Forgot about them! Actually a good little spot. Pizza is on point.

Maybe not directed at you, general theme of thread thinking Dardens acquiring Ruth's is a big deal and going to ruin some amazing place.

The Ruth's love here is strong, kind of shocking. I mean it is by all means not a bad steak, it is just an afterthought of a steakhouse around Dallas. It is a steak house for business meetings/client dining, not a date night or special event.

We need TH03 to weigh in on this.

As has been mentioned several times in this thread the BR Ruth’s is on another level from most of the other locations

Also we don’t have three thousand other steakhouses like Dallas

Hopefully they train all the RC employees in Italy too

The dad to one of my son's good friends manages the local Olive Garden. Got back a few weeks ago from their trip to Italy. That's pretty cool that they do that.

They really have not been the same since the Fertels sold and they became "corporate" Used to go to the original location on N.Broad all the time ....before Katrina. It was good back then.

I'd rather Crescent City or the Steak Knife in Lakeview now.

Might be a good thing they may do an all you and drink martini special and endless filets at Chris’s

Finally went to Texas de Brazil. Didn't think the meat sweats was a real thing until then. The bacon-wrapped filets and the spicy picanha about did me in.

I mean, they haven't fricked up Capital Grille or Eddie V's. I think they'll be able to handle Ruth's Chris.

From what I recall of the Darden Brand they were a better management company than most in that sector. Way harder to get into their management program than say Brinker.

My opinion would not be incorrect, because you all live in a place where Applebees is the Ruth's Chris competition apparently.

With that being said, based off the living situation of some here, I am sure Dardens taking over Ruth may be an apocalyptic event.

May the odds be in your favor post acquisition

Ironic since I'm posting in downtown Nola.

Trying way tooo hard here. Again, stick to being the creep that feels the need to post babe threads all day. That's much more your wheelhouse.
