Overhead power lines - Flintstone’s technology

When will the government demand Entergy and other power companies to use only subsurface power lines. It’s insane and negligent to depend on overhead power lines.

FedGov should release the Tesla specs for free energy while they are at it

You obviously have no clue what is required for underground line installation, much less the repair of those lines.
With overhead lines you can see and assess the damage easily. Underground is a whole different monster

Because you can just bury lines wherever you want.

$$$$
Yeah it's a pain when they go down. But it's cheap to put them up, cheap to maintain them, and cheap to repair them when they go down.
Relative to digging and burying millions of miles of power lines.

As opposed to how they replace the lines for free by charging us storm fees and insurance claims

Why aren’t we wireless by now. My truck console charged my phone for Christ sakes.

Overhead lines are more efficient. Underground lines have exponentially more resistance.

LOL your bill would have a $750.00 per
month surcharge for underground cabling

When you are willing to pay. Some subdivisions have underground service, because they pay for it.

That’s a massive infrastructure renovation.

Not sure if you're serious.
Wireless charging is very lossy, hot, inefficent, etc.
It doesn't matter when you're charging a phone. It would matter a whole lot trying to charge a car (yes, I believe it was BMW that floated that idea) or power a house.
And how would you propose they beam this "wireless" power over vast distances?
