Outgrowing your friends

I’ve slowly come to accept that I’m simply on another level than my buds.
I took them to help me pick out new art for my apartment (I’m replacing my bikini babe posters) and they just didn’t “get it.” They kept suggesting I get things like Truck emblems or sports photographs to cover my walls.
This painting I found honestly brought a tear to my eye and they thought that was funny. How childish can you be? I think this painting really captures the sadness that prevails throughout the world.
Other examples of how I’ve outgrown my buds:
They always want to go to the cheap, shitty strip clubs whereas I opt for the classy ones.
They always get cheap, shitty Busch or Keystone light whereas I opt for bud light platinum.
They prefer watching UFC and stupid cartoons whereas I like to watch foreign films like the British version of The Office.
Do I just stop hanging out with them and find new friends? Or should I wait for them to grow up?
