My dad spent a lot more than 6 days on Okinawa eating nothing but cold canned SPAM and folks were shooting at him day & night.

and Bear Grylls was probably telling them to keep it down, he's stalking a three-toed sloth that he's trying to catch for dinner

The lack of depth of your intellect is amazing.

I personally know the son of a Bataan Death March survivor who is still in his 30s.

lived down the block from a Death March survivor when I lived in Lafayette, and there was another WWII B-17 pilot on the same block

ETA: and now that I think of it, there was a D-Day survivor just a block over

That guy clearly plays the long game. I used to watch his YT and could never understand why he titled the channel the outdoor boys given all of his videos were solo.

But, I lost interest when he started including his kids, yet the name started to make sense.

So the man who survived the Bataan Death March would have had a new baby when he was no younger than 60 yrs. old, by my math. Hat's off to him, if that's the case.

Anyone here ever went through the Army's Green Hell in Panama? I was there, at Ft. Sherman, Panama Canal Zone for 2 weeks for Jungle Warfare Training and we earned our Jungle Expert patch.
This was an experience that I'll never forget!
