OT's Most Exhilarating Topic Today: Inexpensive Moving Boxes?

Anyone know where I can get moving boxes at a decent price? $4/box at the box stores and UHAUL are ridiculous.
Yeah, I know...I'm poor and not an OT Baller who likes to waste $ on boxes

I've found liquor bottle cases to be the best. It has handles, extra reinforcement because of the weight of the bottles, and they're not so big an average person can't handle them.

Dumpster dive. Liquor stores have little boxes that are strong. Great for small stuff and heavy stuff.

Go to Walmart or the dollar store, they will give you boxes

Home depot they're like $1.50 med and $2.50 for big ones.
Do not try and pinch that few pennies using left overs and shite.
Real boxes with handles in the sides will make moving a LOT easier.

When I last moved I just went to home depot Lowe's and bought moving boxes from there.

Home Depot has them for like $1 each

Liquor stores or grocery stores will give them away to you if you call and ask them to hold.

If you are near Lafayette I have some free ones.

I just walk into Wal-Mart and ask for some boxes. They give them away for free, or at least they did the last time I moved (4 years ago).

Home Depot. I recently move and they were the cheapest.

I would always just go to grocery stores and ask for some. Generally they would point me to a corner in the back where they stacked their old boxes and I could take whatever I wanted. For $Free.99

The OT moves all of their shite in Yetis.

I'm in Metairie but I appreciate all the offers for free boxes out of town and the excellent suggestions. The OT never disappoints. Have a great day!

If you go behind any Tuesday Morning store, they have a dedicated box dumpster with broken down boxes of all sizes
