shite. You guys with cable had it easy. I had 4 channels and would set up makeshift booby traps in the hallway so my parents wouldn't catch me fapping to solid gold, Benny Hill, or David Lee Roth's California Girls video.

I had a stroke of luck (haha pun) in my formative
We were still running off of aol and could take quite a bit for a pic to load, but I had a guy that could jailbreak (what amounts to jail breaking) the card for our satellite (may have still been USSB then) Only cost $100
My parents loved it because we got literally every damn channel (thousands) but it also gave free unlimited access to every porn channel. I set some personal records those years

I've always had easy access to porn. When I was ~ 12, my dad used to hide his Playboy & Penthouse magazines in the closet of our spare bedroom.

Don't have to be over 40. I am 32 and still remember nudie mags, scrambled spice channel, and stealing my uncle's box with the "chip" in it. I also remember waiting 20 minutes for one picture to load. I was usually done by the time it got to the chick's belly button.

When Cox Cable first came to New Orleans my sister got a job there. She was able to get fully loaded converter boxes. She got one for the parents house. I caught my Dad watching the Playboy Channel. He freaked..the remote flew out of hand..he couldn't change the channel..I just busted out laughing.

We had one of those huge satellite dishes... and for a while nothing was scrambled. Remember, there was no satellite content providers back then, just channels on a particular satellite. Soon, they started to scramble the channels it became a game figuring out a way to get that shite back. Pretty good incentive for a 15 year old wanna be electronics expert!
