I remember the first time I saw the Internet. Tech crazy buddy of my dads took us in his home office and says "watch this" while putting the phone into a modem (remember those?). About four minutes later there is a grainy photo of a topless chick on the screen. I was hooked.

It was very low tech. Before Cox cable hit New Orleans, there was a single over the air channel (I think named Star) that would show soft core porn at night. The only special equipment you needed was to wrap your rabbit ears in tin foil.

Hell, cosmopolitan mag was the shite for me. I still have the image seared in my brain of a chick in see through purple bra and panties. But today, that would be a sad statement.

Does anybody remember the filters that screwed into the cable for the frick channels. A buddy of mine used to steal them off people's houses and sell them for a premium.
