Uhm, I believe my time was near 5 minutes. Maybe a bit over
If I don't push it hard, like very hard I end up around 5 min every time. when really pushing I can fly through the first first 500m, but when I get to 7 or 800 its a fight, a fight I lose 90% of the time.
worse than the rower is the airdyne. I understand why its nickname is Satan's tricycle. the harder you push it, the hard it gets. I love the bike but despise it.
the only machines better than the rower for fat loss are the air dyne and versaclimber. all three are the shite. the arc trainer elliptical is pretty awesome too.

Will melt fat off you like butter. Too bad they cost a fortune

I have an assault bike at home. I hate that thing with a passion. Go hard on it and it fricks you up, go slow and it doesn't do much, so the only option is to go hard on it for short spurts like HIIT for 5-10 min at a time.
Elliptical, as well, at home.
Looking for a decent price on a concept 2 rower..

Do you wanna be a stick boy?
Well according to my thyroid doctor, I'm supposed to be in the area of 190-205.

I bought the xebex rower and assualt bike from getrxd on the black friday pre order special. Might wanna keep an eye on them and their specials. The xebex is just as nice as the concept 2. I have used both extensively.

Are you having thyroid issues? Hypothyroidism?
Posted on 4/1/16 at 11:38 am to LSUAlum2001
Yeah, I take synthroid for it currently but I wish I could get off medicine altogether lol.

Thanks. I know the Xebex is a low cost alternative. I had not found anyone with first hand use of it for comparison.

Could it be my thyroid holding me up?
Posted on 4/1/16 at 11:41 am to xxKylexx
Are they still adjusting your meds?
I have a friend who was diagnosed with it and they are still tweaking his med levels. He's 6'3" 347, just a little bit bigger than you.
He's strong as shite, though. He played football for UF for 3 years. His squat and deadlift numbers are in the 600-700 range.

If you are hypothyroid, then, yes, it could easily be holding you back.

i would have to think that would be a fairly large possibility
Posted on 4/1/16 at 11:43 am to LSUAlum2001
Well, my levels came back normal as I just did blood work. Though maybe my meds need to be upped?

No but i want one, but cant justify the room in my gym. When i rebuild in like 3 or 4 years and build a bigger gym i will take another look at it.

It wouldn't hurt to schedule an appointment and discuss with him what you are doing and the difficulty you are having dropping more weight.
Posted on 4/1/16 at 11:50 am to LSUAlum2001
Alright, I'll get on top of that. Thanks man!

Yea thyroid output is essential to weightloss. Not having your medicine dialed in or just having it put you in the kower end of the normal range can really stall weightloss quickly.

Good to know, I'll def make an appointment asap. About to have a single serving of greek yogurt with 15 carbs. Gonna stick to the 200/200 you gave me earlier, really appreciate it man!
