Watches should be on leather straps. It's not always practical since they'll soak up sweat, but every watch looks better on leather.
I don't think a leather strap would appreciate being worn when I jump in my pool
I've tried a few leather straps/natos but none match the versatility and comfort of a bracelet, IMO.

None. Haven’t worn a watch in 15 years

I wouldn't trust a non braclet plus can wear it a little loose

The jewelry...stop wearing it.

2 Watches
1944 Rolex Bubbleback (pops from WWII) with correct SS bracelet.
(Like watch pictured)
~15 year-old Grabd Seiko SBGR001
(Like pictured)
I don’t ever wear either one, I always wear a FitBit.
One watch on only one of my wrists is all I wear.

Plenty for sale, just not mine.
The correct SS bracelet is almost as valuable as the timepiece.
It was the only thing I asked him for before he croaked (in ‘89).
Got a Nambu pistol from ‘40 with a snow trigger guard too.

That’s funny and ironic. Leather straps are typically looked at as dressier than bracelets.

If, when, I buy another watch it will be this.
Maybe when my son finishes college.

Picking up a Seiko skx013 soon. Was wearing the Pogue and decided to put that away for safe keeping and get a beater.

Panerai might be my next purchase. Just worried about how easy they are to fake and it that will hurt their longtime value. If so then I will look at a Hublot or something.
I have 4 Panerai. Rolex's are easier to fake, generally the movement on the back of the rolex is closed, which makes it harder to spot a fake. Buy a Panerai, you will enjoy it.
