I’ve got 7 in my standard rotation. 2 more “occasional” watches, and a Stowa Partitio that has never been worn. Thinking of moving it out for something else but can’t make up my mind.

If referring to a Rolex, the GMT is for pilots, baw. A submariner is for diving.

Christopher Ward mixes it

I like divers but going to Japan want GMT unless I see a pilot watch

But Rolex will always likely be more than I am willing to go

5 as of now

1 Rolex, 3 Breitling, 1 Omega

Panerai might be my next purchase. Just worried about how easy they are to fake and it that will hurt their longtime value. If so then I will look at a Hublot or something.

More than 5 if you count my other watches like Seiko and such.

6 automatics. I just got a 6 watch winder for Father’s Day... it’s the best Father’s Day gift that I’ve gotten in a long time. Love being able to grab a watch and go with minimal setting - I find myself rotating watches more randomly and frequently now.

My one manual is Weiss Field Watch... they make damn fine watches. American made movement.

It’s called the Milgauss. It comes in a stainless steel, white gold, or orange sport band. If you search for it there are multiple places that sell it online who are reputable, but I prefer to buy something in person from a jeweler I trust.

Here are some other looks:

23 that are in the case, have a few others that are in a box somewhere that probably need batteries. 10 are automatics, 10 are Seikos, few Citizens, Orients, a G-shock, an Omega. Probably pick up a Rolex and a GS at some point.

I really like the Tudor black bay gmt that just came out. Out of my budget, but maybe one day when I feel like splurging

If you buy from a reputable jeweler, you’ve got nothing to worry about. If looking at the outside of an high quality fake watch, it can be hard to see/feel the differences when next to an authentic watch. Sometimes the differences are so minute that it takes a keen eye, or sometimes a magnifying glass, to see the small subtle variances.

However, the inside of authentic watches tell a totally different story. I’ve not seen or heard of a fake watch that has the same internal gears, mechanical qualities, and precise inscriptions as it’s authentic counterpart.
