So. Just say the word. I'll come over

Ben, get a .22 rifle, walk up and stick it behind the dogs ear, turn your head and pull the trigger. Don't look back, walk inside. Come back 5 minutes later with a trash bag and put it there without looking as much as possible. Then pay respects a bury it. Had to do it a few times. It sucks

Yea it does suck.
You're not doing him or yourself any favors by putting it off.

Thank you, M just took Curtis to Denham to try to find a vet. If she doesn't find someone, I know it's a lot to ask but I just can't shoot my dog. Email me your number when I changed phones I lost all my contacts

Thanks Rob, I guess my main complaint was about their speed. People don't drive fast down this street, at those speeds it would be hard to run over an animal. Whoever did it would have been driving much faster than normal plus not paying attention or they were just a huge a-hole and didn't even try to avoid it

I live in the country and there are dogs running into the road all the time. I try to stop and honk...at least swerve...it's dangerous and I'm probably going to cause a wreck one day swerving for a dog that shouldn't be in the road...I know accidents happen and they get out sometimes unknowingly. ..but please keep your dog out of the road. A lot of these are exist allowed to roam free and do not deserve to die ;-(
Sorry for your loss. I hope it was instantaneous and he did not suffer.

So you're bitching about someone hitting your dog, but you're on here posting and allowing him to suffer in the meantime?

You apparently haven't read the thread.
Doesn't matter because the dog has a broken femur and is in surgery.
I think he will be fine

My neighborhood was the same way brah. One of my buddy's dog got hit by a cop in patrol car (of all people) who lived nearby on his way to work going 40 in a 15 and died. Whole fricked up situation. Ain't no fun.

Glad to hear he's ok. Good thing you drug your feet I guess

Just think, if he does somehow god forbid have to lose a leg, you can put him on one of those badass doggy wheelchairs. Would be dope.

Damn man, I've had that happen plenty. Never once stopped to check on em either.
Unless I'm in a residential neighborhood, I'm not stopping. In fact, while I've never hit a dog, when I've seen others hit them, I've never seen that driver stop.

Wouldn't be chasing any cars in one of those. I cannot express how relieved I am that Curtis is going to be OK.
To the people that were sympathetic and concerned I want you to know that I appreciate it.
To the assholes and you know who you are. You can all suck Curtis's dick

I ran over a cat in Gulfport rush hour traffic on 90 as if I had a choice when it darted out in front of me. I kept going rather than slam on my brakes and cause an accident. Naturally, a car full of Mississippi's finest tailed me yelling and cursing at me until I ditched them.
