haha no it is not. That is 8% BF.
If the average guy goes on the correct weight training program and diet then he could easily obtain this. When I say easy, i don't mean comfortable I mean easy in the since its a do the work, eat the right shite and give it time and you will get there.

You are right though that for the average American its unobtainable, but its because they are fricking lazy. Spending a total of 4 hours a week in the gym is easily obtainable for the average american. I have 3 kids, work at least 50 hours a week, wife works at least 50 hours a week and all three of my kids are 5 and under, yet I still fine time everyday to workout.
I wake up at 5 and get an hour or so workout in or I do a workout after the kids are in bed or I go at lunch. You find time to do what you feel is important.
thank you thank you fricking thank you

I think he's easily hitting 250.

This is absolutely correct. A 32 year old man (guessing) is not putting on serious mass and losing serious fat without help.
I have no frame of reference with Zack Efron, but even the cleanest diet and serious strength training, a middle aged man isn't going from soft to ripped in a year.
You have no clue what you are talking about. Since feb 1st I have went from 212 to 188 as of last night while only losing a 1/4" on my arms. Now I am not to 7 or 8% like he is but I am sub 10%. my waist went from over 36" to 33" as of this morning. BTW I am 33.
You have no clue what the hell you are talking about. Just because you are not willing to put in the work, doesn't mean others are not.

You fat carb junky. No wonder you can't get lower than 13% BF.
Have the steel cut oats in the morning (along with your eggs, bacon, fruit, whatever), then beans with a meat (mix it with canned chicken or lean ground beef, or whatever), maybe some brown rice if you want. Then, for dinner, unsalted can of green beans or Normandy blend veggies and a lean meat.
It worked for me whenever I wanted to get more shredded.
But, I know, I'm nowhere near the O-T 7% BF norm.

I weigh about 174, size 31 inch waist, need to get my BF checked. I've been slipping the past month, but I'm okay with that. I still look good.

Great., bub. I'm 38, have a wife and two kids and work in NYC Biglaw and generally have yearly billable hours of around 2300. I say you're wrong. Maybe it's just that you're lazy.

I can say it because it's true. Even you hardcore guys are saying it's really tough to hit 8%. I never will. And I don't care. It takes another level of commitment to get to that. Some dudes could get to that on a bet, but nobody walks around at 8% all year. That's my point.

yea not sure why but the excuses are infuriating to me. Just say you are not willing to do what it takes and leave at that, but the excuses are an insult to everyone who actually puts in the time and effort

I'm certainly lazy. You walk around looking like Zack Effron? I don't envy you. I pitty you.

He may be in better shape than me, but at least I have a worse personality and less money.
Come and get some, ladies.

I'm solo, so it's a totally different animal. Lots of times I just get paid up front and I just handle the case. Very rarely do I do billable hours. It's a bad idea if you suck at case valuation, but I'm getting better at that. Shoot, there are days when I have nothing going on.
In fact, I'm fighting an attorney on a motion he filed for fees and he billed 200 hours on this one case in a span of 5 months. Ohmylulz.
ETA: Considering what you do, I'm sure you're a whole lot busier than I am.

Same. It takes a deep level of insecurity to devote that much of your life to a portion of your physical appearance

No, I don't. And I get what you were saying in your previous post. I don't look like him, and probably won't, but it's because I don't have the discipline to maintain the effort that it would take.
That being said, three years ago, I was a fatass. I made all of the work/family excuses. When I had to buy a pair of 36" waist dress pants one day, I said that's enough. Now, three years later, I've lost almost 40 pounds, and I'm lifting more than I ever have. I've made peace with myself that this may be as good as it gets for me from here on out, but I'm OK with that.
