and thats fine but don't get mad and put down those that do and say its unobtainable. bottom line is you are fricking wrong, its unobtainable because most people are fricking lazy.

And weren't you a big time runner at one point? wtf is the difference.

I guess I am a narcissist, but to me spending less than 5 hours a week on my health and appearance is really not that big of a deal.

I don't like watching TV, I am not a sit still kind of guy and on a normal night will not sit down one time other that when I go into the hot tub and to relax before bed.

If TV is your thing, thats fine, but don't put down others because its not theirs.

5'10" to 5'11".

It didn't look good on me, at all. It seriously was all in my gut and my face.

Now, I'm about 174. Strong as an ox, but it's tough for me to add mass.

You really come across like you have disdain for people that do. By the way I don't measure my arm thickness and counting my calories might take 2 minutes a day. What is so bad about living a healthy lifestyle?

I really dont give it too much thought. Sometimes its a simple as i didnt really do shite today so im not going prepare any starches for dinner tonight. Carbs have never really been an issue for me bc im happy with just eating protein for dinner every night. but for instance i drank appox 48 beers bw fri morning and sat night last weekend on a kayaking trip, meanwhile saying frick it and eating anything and everything available in woods. I would venture to say mr. efron isn't having too many of those binges, which means I cannot be mr. efron and thats ok

a ton have, every single one that screamed steroids did so. You have been the main one. Saying work and family, work and family. Just STFU and say you like being fat already.

and I measure my arms once a month....wow the horror. and its reality they won't obtain it because they lack the discipline, drive and will power to do so.

Yeah, this past weekend I went to visit one of my best friends and I drank and got wasted, and I haven't gotten wasted in maybe two years. The next day, I ate Popeye's. I'm so tough on myself and so strict on my diet that I had to force myself to go easy on it and just make overall healthy decisions.

yea I quit working out for 3 years or so and at 5'11 when I got to 245 lbs and had to buy size 38 waste jeans I was like, enough is enough. That was 4 and a half years ago right after my first son was born.

Decided I didn't have time for the gym with working full time, going to school full time and then with a new kid. So I got a cheap weight set from sears and went to work with it, body weight stuff and sprints. Lots and lots of sprints.

buy a juicer.

buy a vitamix (frigging automatic editor changed it to vitamin).

ask your MD to support your obsession with steroid injections once a month.
Steroids really work. you can use them for a week every month without the horrible side effects.

you will need a trainer for when you are taking steroids.

30 minutes a day seems low to me.

I would go on a juice fast and vitamix fast each every other day for 8 or 10 days and get down to your target weight and then add muscle. Your attitude will be better if you are already cut and looking pretty good.

I will be implementing very shortly. My thing its more of a concern for me typically to get all my calories(from the right sources) than it is to worry about excess calories and bf%, so I likely wouldn't benefit as much as whom's sole purpose is to cut bf

how so?

nothing

where did I say living a healthy lifestyle was bad?

all I said was that for the average American male with a job and family, having (at the time I replied it was claimed to be 4% bf) that low of body fat was unobtainable due to obligations, responsibilities, etc

and I got called lazy and fat because of that comment

IF isn't about cutting BF. Its a lifestyle choice that allows you to eat bigger meals, staying leaner while having more flex in diet and a ton of other health benefits.

In fact the original lean gains 16/8 protocol was about how to recomp without gaining tons of fat. It worked well and he started playing with the macros % and calories and came up with systems that work extremely well no matter your goal.
