OT space nerds re the Drake equation

A certain website that does AMA series had an AMA with Frank Drake. As you know, he is the creator of the Drake equation. A google search will take you there. It is a very good read if you find life in the universe interesting. Enjoy.

Still have my copy of "We Are Not Alone" by Drake, was one of the few science based "non- tinfoil hat the government are hiding aliens" books that looked at the possibility of life in the universe other than on earth.

I know I'm probably in the minority but I always found Sagan to be a pretentious arse. Way too much hippie mysticism to space so to speak.
