Get a family pass every year. Didn't get much snow last year, hope we see a change this year.

Brighton and solitude are connected. Both are quiet home town feel type of places. I enjoy both equally. Never done any backcountry. I am a cruising on a blue run type of guy. Great powder at both. Best conditions I have ever had.

Having surgery next friday for my meniscus. Medial and lateral tears. Supposed to have a quick recovery time.

Bought my Epic pass in July. Two trips locked in already, working on a 3rd.

12/10-13 - Beavercreek
1/6-12 - Park City

I pulled my skis out and have them leaning against the wall in my room.....in BR. I can't fricking wait!

s at Brighton. That's the most underrated hill in the slc area and there's never any crowds.

Brighton is great. Agree it's very underrated as the other mountains get all the attention

I'm not familiar with names but there's a lift on the southern most part of the mountain that has really good tree skiing. Cliffs and everything. But it's all in bounds.

I can't lie. Snowbird and Alta have much better terrain but I can't stand the crowds

I was living in Montana last year and put 100+ days on my board. Then I decided to grow-up and get a job in Texas. Now I'll be lucky if I get double digits on the slopes this year .

GF and I haven't gone in forever, and another couple wants to plan a trip somewhere. Any suggestions for somewhere for pretty much 4 beginners/intermediate at best people who want to avoid major crowds but have enough to do to stay entertained?

The thing I love about skiing is that you can garuntee one thing, there is very few if any "people that annoy you" on the slopes.

I respectfully disagree sir... unless I'm at Alta or Deer Valley... there are stupid snowboarder kids, in their ridiculous baggy clown outfits, sitting all over the trails, hopping up hills, or scraping all the snow off the slope they don't have the skills to properly ride.
