Got a double dose of MOHS surgery this week (one on the cheek) and it’s no cake walk. And, that’s the non-killer version (ie melanoma).

Seriously, most of the damage happens in early years, so just take a moment to spray it on.

ETA: and/or use those coverups and mineral lotions.

Peace out

Spray on sunscreen is what is causing the cancer.

This is the retarded response I expect from the OT. Thank you.

There’s zero chance we look back on spray sunscreen as a good thing. We KNOW there are harmful chemicals in it, yet we put it in a volatile airborn cloud to inhale.

Change your diet and watch what happens. Millions of years of evolution and you think we can't handle some sun?

The issue is what you are putting into your body.

People who eat only real food (meat, plants, rice, etc) hardly ever burn.

Honestly, I do see where mineral versions are better.

So, just do that then.

Jesus.

Look. I get some mild entertainment from Liver King also, but you’re off base holistic take will result in bad circumstances.

And, you are aware our “ancestors” were rife with skin lesions and died very young?

Come on. SMH

I was skeptical at first as well. But join any sort of Carnivore type group and it is a topic that is discussed often.

I've never been able to go full carnivore, but I do notice a huge difference in how I tolerate the sun when my diet is clean.

UV blockers are so far as we know, the only ones that don’t have harmful chemicals. Stick to titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. Blue lizard sensitive skin works great. Basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma are most definitely from excess sun exposure contrary to what people will tell you.

Preach this to your kids and grandkids if you have them.

Considering you die much later in life than reproductive age it would have very little to do with evolution.

Like Huntington’s or any genetic illnesses that kill your later in life.

All of this.

My Mom had skin cancer when she was 16 so I’ve worn sunscreen for a long time and gotten my skin checked regularly by a dermatologist. And having sensitive skin, usually with formulas that had minimal shitty chemicals.

I also wasn’t allowed to use a tanning bed. It’s no coincidence several of my HS friends who did are starting to have cancer spots come up.

the propellant in spray sunscreen is usually propane which evaporates in seconds. Otherwise it’s the same ingredients as lotion. Whether or not those ingredients have unhealthy side affects I have no idea but I’d rather risk that than skin cancer

So sharing that a clean healthy diet has helped dramatically with how my body handles sun makes me a fool?

I mean, this should not even be a controversial statement.
