I'm expecting madness .

Any tips/pointers?

Expect the madness. We have 2. Son (~5 yr older) and daughter. She is basically a perfect child but it was probably as big of an adjustment to our lives as the first one. Now they both have sports and activities, it is a logistical challenge every night.

There are a lot more stressers to your relationship, you have to work those things out

I can not imagine three kids at different ages.

How is It?

Expensive first off. The girl is moody as frick so she's a woman. Luckily the boy is chill AF and currently on the way to a modeling shoot

The day really goes as my 2 YO goes. He's the wildcard. If He is in a good mood then the day typically is a lot better. But when he's being a shite sandwich the day can get very rough because him crying makes the twins cry. Going to 3 kids is the hardest because you are out numbered as parents and the oldest One can't really help out yet. We have a lot of help from family as they are both close by which is a life saver. Don't be afraid to ask for help. You need it

One to two is tough. Two to three ain't shite.

One you are still pretty free to roam. Easy to bring the kid along. Two makes it harder. May need a bigger vehicle and people don't want to watch more than one.

We have 3. It's awesome. We take em everywhere with us.

Here is a pro tip...
Get them on a fricking schedule. Sleep/naps especially. Your life will be much better if you just let them nap on a schedule. If that means you have to come home from wherever or leave at a certain time after they wake then so be it.

Alton Sterling made the jump from 1 to 5 and it worked out ok for all of them....

Definitely more complicated than just one. You learn to juggle and you and wife will be handing off to each other more. Certainly not the end of the world however.

You can still play man-to-man with two kids, but you have to switch to zone coverage when the third hits. That's the real tipping point.

Honestly, it was no big deal to me going from 1 to 2 kids. You already have most of the basic things a new one needs(changing table, bottles, crib, high chair, stuff like that). Plus some basic knowledge of taking care of them.

You got this.

After two it feels like a vacation to only have one. Barely even a parents if you only have one kid. First year is tough but it gets better.

I can't imagine getting to go somewhere and leaving with 3.

It takes us forever to get out of the house with one 3 year old running around.

3 sounds fricking wild .

It's good that they are that far apart. The older one still has needs so make sure he gets that special time with parents. Try to stay on some kind of schedule and yes, you are going to be very busy. Good luck.
