I had absolutely no problem getting my registration and license plate with the application for title immediately after purchase.
But... you had a Bill of sale which allowed you to get a title. There would have been no Bill of sale on this as it was stolen unless it was falsified. They had to forge the sale documents to apply for a title.

Thank you for all. Like the Mailman, Carl Malone, you have delivered. Just hope in the end that justice is served.

Wow......I got up and fixed breakfast this morning at 10. Stumbled upon this thread. Here we are at noon and THIRTY NINE pages later.
Wow. Wow. Wow. Talk about greasy. Y'all really are some good folks down there. Hell of an online community here for something like this to happen for a complete stranger. Unbelievable.
Were I in OPs shoes I'd have the same attitude, the only thing I'm concerned about is sticking it to these rat bastards. Well done eitek...well done my man. You baws come up to Lexington for Keeneland and football, bourbon is on me.

Epic story. The perpetrators have homefield advantage and the local officials refuse to throw a flag. Most likely they will continue playing the good ol' boy card and walk.
Hope I'm wrong.

I have a real thick country accent. It’s my super power. Most people immediately assign stereotypes when they hear it and really open up.
The wealthiest folks I know (multiple jets-level wealth) have the types of accents that if you heard them you’d be surprised.

Maybe contact the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation. You may luck out and get an investigator that loves to go after dirty cops. If they see all of the evidence you have, kinda hard not to do a double take that those people are being protected.

Dumb question but now that she mailed and emailed fraudulent invoices isn’t that mail and or wire fraud?
Shouldn’t postal investigators be involved?
Shouldn’t postal investigators be involved?

They are and I had an appointment for a call back a week ago and have heard nothing.

No they are not. I’m not sure what that relationship is but they are two entirely different people.
I guess this is what confused me on that:

When the stolen motorcycle was recovered it was recovered with a current, up to date license plate. This plate indicates the motorcycle is registered in Mississippi to “Karen” wife of the Wrecker Company owner.

Seems like agencies are trying to give you the run around thinking you’ll go away. Nope! Stay vigilant! If you don’t start getting return calls soon I’d try and get in touch with Zurich or nakamoto like others mentioned.

I didn't really care for my accent for a long time and wished it were different. I do really technical work and I know the stereotypes it immediately brings to mind. I've dealt with it.
As it turns out, my accent immediately puts people at ease and they open up. I'll take that anyday. When you hear the recorded calls you'll understand. If my accent had been different it would have sounded like a carefully crafted interrogation. Instead it was just two people trying to work through a confusing situation for a mutually beneficial outcome.

There has to be an aspiring investigative reporter who is looking for a story if the two big dogs pass.

The first post on the first page. That's where and how it started.
