Why are you dating outside your tax bracket? You already sound like a captain save a hoe.
Funny you say that, I was a bit discouraged with the three previous dates with the teachers so I took a nurse out this past weekend and had a blast. She damn near may make more than me... I didn't know nurses can make 50-55/hr LOL.

Well hell, you should be quite used to really awkward small talk then
Actually, I am the anti-stereotypical Engineer...
Women are really shocked when we first meet because the expect exactly what you just said.

Idk? I didn't realize I did until you pointed it out lol.

Since you've had 3 dates with 3 different women, you've obviously not been seeing any of them for very long. I would even bet you haven't been on a date with any of them more than 3 to 4 times each. That being assumed, the fact that they are discussing this topic with you is proof of their desperation (read: gold digging).
You have only one option here. Drop all of them, and POST PICS!

I was reallllllly close to using that as a joke but I figured that would be too much of a bold move and pussed out.

I work as one of those too, just checking to see if I missed something.

I mean I totallllllly get that and for the most part it makes me wonder if I should just kinda accept they see a lot more shitty parts of the world than I do at this stage of my life.
Just accept they see shitty social situations.
When you have a job where you interact with children everyday....you will be charmed by some of these sweet, loving children, while feeling bad for the social situations they are in of no fault of their own. Talk to pediatric nurses and you will hear similar stories. You feel sad when you see these kids not have the childhoods they should be having because they had the unfortunate luck of having a piece of shite excuse for a human for a parent.
I would say it is admirable that they still have a passion for their jobs and want to impact the lives of the children they interact with at school. Better than the teachers that basically just gave up and act as glorified baby sitters imo.

I have only continued conversation with one as I found out one smokes weed pretty frequently and the other wants to literally get married tomorrow if she could.
I am 31 so I am noticing that dating in my age range I have to swim through the women who missed out in their 20's and trying to lock down something before they hit 35.

I specifically said if it progresses past just dates. Then after letting her know your opinion....IF it gets really serious (as in serious possibility of engagement)...talk about children.

How many do you know that slept with one?

Tbh that's what made me attracted to them. It's just the extra curricular that comes with it that I more than likely over looked that made it a tougher decision.

I teach 8th grade with 80% "economically disadvantaged" population. Some kids' home life really do get to you and you want to be there for them. Other kids are just shitheads and you can't do anything for them. The quicker teachers understand that some kids are just shitheads and you can't do anything for them, the better.

I am married to a nurse. See how much better things are when you are with someone who brings in close to what you bring in?

All of my co-workers wives are nurses and I can honestly see how the personalities work.
It's nice having someone in the same pay range because they clearly aren't looking for someone to help them financially along. This woman is actually working and finishing the next step above BSN, so she clearly doesn't need me for $$$ lol.
We are actually planning to get away for the weekend which is different and nice!
