On certain occasions, I need to look like a good ol' baw without actually having to work in the oilfield, etc.

Which one of these will give me that casual good ol' baw look at the bar/political fundraiser, etc.?

Both of those will look fine with jeans and a sweater vest.

Just get them both. Then you and your husband can each wear a pair.

Between those two, I’d get the bottom one.

Depends. You trying to look like the guy on the rig who gets dirty or the one that supervises the guys who get dirty? The first one is for the guys who get dirty.

I wear the 2nd option to work everyday. Sole wears out a little quickly, but they hold up great otherwise.

Any man asking for advice on what boots look good is not, and will never, be a “good ol baw”

I’ve been wearing the carbo trac for years and love it. It really softens up as you wear them. I wish they made it in a darker brown.
