I’m always surprised to see users paying such close attention to other posters’ names.

The way I see this site, there’s me and there’s guys on Tiger Droppings. I’ve never bothered to track who said what or to remember details about posters I interact with.

Does anyone else here see things that same way?

It is much easier to notice who the posters are if you are on a laptop. Everything blends together when you are on a phone. The avatars make a huge difference on the computer it actually becomes hard not to remember posters.

Sometimes the posters with the most idiotic takes on a subject stick in your mind. I can read a post sometimes and say I bet that is...

He was an incredibly helpful and patient poster. I never saw him lose his cool. Wish I could say the same about myself.

PB was a great dude. Super smart. I had the chance to meet him when I bought some football tix from him. He could explain accounting principles to the dumbest posters.

I would say eight times out of ten I never look at who I'm responding to. I just respond.

I think you're talking about Keldar, some of his posts were incredibly brave but rough to read.

That's it! I always associated him with kevlar because of his military service.
