At the gym yesterday and needed to work in some traps, but told myself not to be that douche.

As I walk over to the dumbbell rack there are a group of about 4 5'5" Mexicans standing in the zone in question. With 1-2 different dumbbell pairs at their feet attempting some wierd superset combination.

So, not only could I not get to the rack but half of the Dumbbells were taken.

So I interrupt them mid set walk in between them, grab some non weakling weight, interupt their set again, and walk to an area where I wouldn't be blocking the rack.

The current gym I go to would make most of the OT Gym Rats lose their fricking minds on a daily basis. The girlfriend wanted a cheap gym near her house. So now I'm getting my pump (sarcasm) as basically a $10 a month ObamaCare gym. Some of the shite I see take place in their on a daily basis is mind fricking:

- Mexicans showing up in work boots, a wife beater, and cargo pants, and still wearing sunglasses.
- A couple using the Smith Machine to do pull-ups.....when there is a pull up bar -_-
- 3-4 Fat women daily doing circuits on the ab machines for 20-30 minutes as a time not letting people work in. I mean when you are 40-50lbs overweight....what's the point?
- Some fat lil chunk sooo short he had to stand on the seat of the Pull Down Row station to reach the bar -_-

There is an old guy (~60 maybe older) that goes into the gym and super half reps every thing. I commend him for going but shite damn it annoys me. He will PROBABLY move 1 inch in total movement on a tricep pulldown.

How do you grab weight that isn't weakling weight if you had to go between them? Shouldn't they be on the end all pristine like with a little dust on them?

A friend of mine sent a snap of some gym where they actually had a selfie zone. It was a labeled circle on the floor in front of one of the mirrors.

is that soutdowns?

anyway, by far a bigger sin than this is circuit training person that thinks there is no problem with trying to hold 3-4 areas at once hostage and looks at you like you're an a-hole for jumping in.

your sarcasm meter is broken.

but the weights were all mixed up to hell, likely due to the supers-setting suspicious superfluous suspects I mentioned, and they were spread out about 5 feet apart from each other covering the whole area in question.

I walked in between them and their mirror, mid straight arm raises sets, from the low weight end to the higher weight end, to grab the 70lb pair of Dumbbells for my first set of shrugs.

Just a little, brah. No homo.

It's only a good workout if I'm not doing legs, I'm listening to loud music through my studio beats by dee, I'm neglecting form, and flexing in the mirror.

agreed.

Which generally isn't a problem unless you're shrugging 50 reps of 25lbs. You'll be at the higher weight end which isn't needed for most dumbbell workouts

Any body on here use StrongLifts? I've been doing it for about 2/12 months now and have gained 10 lbs. Love the exercises and I'm seeing gains each week. After I finish the third month, I think I will switch to Madcows. Any have experience with that program?

No shite. Stick to groups of 3.

My biggest peeve is the guy who does a set on a machine or bench and then sits there on his phone instead of getting the frick out the way.

Oh and the people who bring kids who sit on machines playing on ipad.
