Yeah it sounds like you are looking for the laws of physics to change, which could be awhile.
Its way more likely in 10 years that you will be able to put on an almost weightless helmet, and feel like you are legitimately in the stadium. I mean legit, not the VR now.

How about a virtual reality grocery store were you can walk around the isles, pick things up that you want to buy and put things into your shopping cart. Virtually employees could be there to discuss products with you.
