OT finish carpenters, can this be moved and patched seamlessly?

Would like to relocate this outlet to another spot. But can this be patched so as to look like it was never here?
ETA, it’s mounted in something like 1/4 birch. Thin.

Is the end of the cabinet, or island, or whatever wood?

Pull the outlet out and overlay the entire side with a thin sheet of plywood. It’s painted so it doesn’t really matter what kind of wood it is

you could cover it with something like fleur-de-lis or an emblem or design of your choice...

This. You could probably even get the trim off without messing it up and put it right back on. Simple job. Patching it is just way too involved.

Just remove it and put a picture frame over it

Yep. You can't patch it. Just cover the whole thing up.

You can patch that the same way you patch sheet rock.
Find plywood with the same thickness and cut a plug the same shape as the hole. Cut a strip wider than the plug and use that to attach the plug from the back. Use filler around the edges and sand smooth. Paint.
Edit: the advice about replacing the whole panel is better. Cheap and fast and you don’t have to worry about anything showing.

Pull the corner trim, take the socket out, skin the whole panel with something thin, replace the corner trim and repaint.

Why move it, just add one where you want to relocate this one to. You can never have too many outlets in a kitchen

Another option is remove the outlet and put a cover plate on it.
You could paint the plate to match.

There is probably dozens of diy videos on YouTube.

Just put a new panel on the end. Would be easier than patching.

Just hang some knick knack over the hole
