How about some current photos for comparison, then draw a circle around your infection with a sharpie to see how much it progresses, then give us a new pic tomorrow.

Odds are a spider. About two weeks ago I thought a mosquito bit me near my elbow, about 3 days later it started to feel like I needed to pop it or something then a few days later I was able to do so, but it got worse, long story short, by the next weekend I had to go to an after hrs facility. It was a staph infection. It had to be numbed up & cut open to drain it. I am still on antibiotics. The doctor told me that most bites that end up getting infected are caused by spider bites.

Does it really hurt? If so, I'd say that looks like a Charlie bite

Hopefully it's MRSA. Commonly mistaken as a spider bite.

If it's MRSA, my advice is just to let it sit and fester for a few months.

A spider. Recently one like that appeared on back of my ankle. 3 days later, after a black hole developed with redness much larger, I received antibiotics from the doc. It then healed.

Your white privilege is that you can see red marks on your skin. Black people just see black marks

Yep. Sounds like a brown reclouse (spelled wrong ).

What you just described is what happened to my daughter.
