OT Brag Thread - my garage/estate sale finds today

Here are my finds today:

If you haven’t seen the thread, I bought a pair Acoustic Research AR-3 speakers
Spent $288
Value $2000+


Herman Miller Eames fiberglass chair:
Spent $20
Value $300-$400


Mini Meepul candles
Spent $12
Value $80+
Within in minutes on eBay, I had an offer of $60


60’s/70’s cocktail shakers
Spent $20
Value ???
I collect these, they staying with me


And lastly, not officially today, but it was a garage sale today that he let me come yesterday. Three pieces of cypress, 1x15 by 5+ ft, 4x4 by 8ft beam, and 2x12 by 9 ft
Spent $30
Value ???






That $370 spent, value of about $2800. The deals are out there, I’ve been doing it for 18 years

My brother used to coach HS football. In his first job all the single coaches had a house together and it was furnished with shitty chairs like this that they absconded from the school. I didnt know they were worth anything.

I like how the items get shittier and shittier as the post goes on. By the end, it's literally three random pieces of wood.

There were millions of chairs like this in the 59’s/60’s/70’s, but not all made by Herman Miller. You paying for the name
