North face is a spring and fall jacket in ohio that is played out. Too many of the same boring jacket. I don't try to join the crowd, I wear other brands. And since our winters are harsh, Castle jackets are "baller"

North Face still makes good stuff. Competing brands include: Marmot, Patagonia, Arcteryx, Outdoor Research, Eddie Bauer First Ascent, Mountain Hardware, Western Mountaineering, etc. Some make certain items better than others.

Of course I'm talking about what actually works outdoors. I don't pay too much attention to urban clothing fads.

I wear Stio gear. Great brand, ski with the owner. You are correct, they sold the company. Came back to Jackson to start Stio. I also have been product testing their fishing shirt line. All you frat stars would love the line up.

Yeah screw any company trying to guilt me into buying one do their jackets because " six million Jews died." Do you make a good jacket or not? I choose OR for my outdoor needs because I know they hold up in extreme conditions and repeated rough use.

Baller?

Maybe by poor people, it's never been "baller".

The true "elite" brand is Helly Hansen.
