I bet that car depreciates 50k in the first 18 months OUCH. But someone who has spent UNGODLY amount of money modifying cars that I will never get back, I have no room to talk. But that brake package will be worth like nothing on the used market.

when i build my own on the BMW website the brake package is only $9k, why would it be $17k on this one?
Typical Brian Harris.

That only applies when they have some heat in them during track outings. Otherwise they are no better, and in some conditions worse, than standard iron rotors and organo-metallic/ceramic pads. Other than unsprung weight savings and bragging rights there is no benefit for a street driven car.
Agree w/ most all you said, but in many cases they stop a bit better than their iron counterparts.
I did notice a difference in two similar cars, one with, one without the ceramic option.
You did forget no brake dust. This is actually pretty cool.

there is a "Gas Guzzler Tax"? awesome
Been around since he 90's. On any sports vehicle that gets less than 16mpg, or something like that.
I remember in the car magazines it was always mentioned in expenses.

You'll be lucky if you can own a BMW and not drop 10K in repair costs within the first 100K miles. They are junk, but hey, you'll like nice driving down the road (when it's not in the shop).

A friend of mine just bought that new Mercedes sportscar. It's an AMG something.

Keep that on the down low man. I don't like people around here knowing how much money I like to throw around

Because Brian Harris is a piece of shite dealership. I never had a pleasurable experience when dealing with them. They even managed to piss me off when I stopped in to buy an oil filter. So glad I don't have to deal with them anymore.
