Along with obesity. Being fat is like wearing a billboard letting everyone know you’re a piece of shite

I got one when I was in my early 20’s. No ones name or anywhere visible with a T-shirt on. But do I wish I didn’t have it, Yes. But it doesn’t even remotely bother me. It will never affect a job or relationship etc. if anything it’s something to say I did dumb when I was younger.

The OTs obsession with hating something that’s on someone else’s body truly needs to be studied. It’s absurd the hard opinions that are thrown out on these threads….really remarkable. I’ve had tattoos for over ten years. I love every single one. Have one representing each of my children, the rest are a road map of my life, similar to the hard hat stickers I’ve collected over the years when I was in the field. Mine are in a style that will last a long, long time (American traditional). I’ve had phenomenal conversations with really interesting people while sitting in their chair for 5+ hours. Learned a lot about others. Appreciated their talent. I will never regret mine because every time I look at a particular one, I smile. Again, remarkable the amount of 260# and over slobs on this site that pretend to have the moral high ground because they chose not to get a tattoo while some of us chose to have them. Live and let live dude!

All tattoos suck and are signs of low intelligence and trashiness.

My definition of most tattoos:
People paying money and enduring pain to permanently affix "artwork" to their bodies that I would scrub from the bathroom walls.

Seriously, I would put my blood-type on my arm or an identifying symbol, but not much else. And only those if I were going into danger.

I cannot imagine sitting in a chair for 5+ hours to get a tattoo. I hate sitting in a chair for 15 minutes to get a hair cut. Don't get me started about going to an hospital emergency room, all are a waste of time, but to each his own.

Hood rats, gang members, and convicts get tats to tell their stories, but guess what, nobody cares about their stories.

If people want to document their life story that is great, write it down in a journal, your loved ones can go back and read in your own words how much they meant to you and about your journey.

Next lets talk about the people who put the "In Loving Memory" stickers on the back window of their autos.

If a tattoo has been on you for that long in life, you really think the person is gonna care what it looks like?

Nope, still trashy and still don't care

Have you not noticed that even on this college related forum that the nation is full of barely literate people? They can barely read and they spell in ebonics. They are pretty much left to using colors and drawings as a means of written communication. And this is after they wasted 12 years of their lives attending classes in their native language. All they have to show for it is a Neanderthal level of expression.

Honestly there’s a very good chance I get a giant tattoo the day I retire just to anger people like you. Probably a full color tweety bird with a thought bubble that says “ I Tawt I Taw A Puddy Tat”. I’ll walk the neighborhood shirtless for the rest of my days.

The way some of you live your life ascribing motive and feelings to other people because of how you think they should feel about themselves is exhausting. Hope OP feels better about himself now. He needed a quick random shaming thread to boost his self esteem.

Nothing screams "I make really bad decisions" louder than people like Jelly Roll and Post Malone. Now, both are very successful in the music industry but, damn, what the frick was going on when you did that to yourself?

Haha. Didn’t notice, guess it didn’t copy what I was replying to lol.

That’s a thread about a cyclist getting hit after blocking traffic intentionally.

I had a buddy married to a girl with a tattoo of a star on her thigh that she had gotten when she was in better shape. He liked to joke that it was originally a star, but now it’s a nebula.

It's against the rules in my Family to get a tattoo. It's punishable by being disowned.

Nobody can even enter my Family who has a tattoo. I'm sorry to say it.

Your family’s preferences are laudable; their discrimination is poor judgement. Too many wonderful people have tattoos.
