Why not bring him to a zoo or something wtf!

“black bear was killed by Oregon wildlife officials last week after becoming so accustomed to humans through being fed that the public could get close enough to take selfies with the animal, authorities said.

Law enforcement was alerted to the bear near Henry Hagg Lake through “selfie” photos on social media, the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) said in a news release. Authorities tried to force the bear back into the woods Wednesday, but the animal returned the following day. It was discovered eating food the public had left for it.”

They had to put down one of the elk in Cherokee a few years back because of this too. People can just be so, so dumb. I say let nature take its course and whoever is dumb enough to get too close pays the price.

Black bears usually aren't too mean, so I'm not following the thought process for why they had to kill the thing.

I'd probably rather have that guy hanging around than a damn pit bull that could snap any second.

Why not try and relocate him, say, 100 miles away. He then has to forage or dies naturally.

It pisses me off, when Gaming Officials kill perfect health animals, because Humans are dildos. 70% the people feeding the bear post on the Rant.

It’s the Disney syndrome, saw show about Yellowstone.Ranger caught guy trying to put his small child on bears back to take his picture.Another guy tried to pet young bull elk,elk got after him, only thing that saved the guy was there was group of small trees the guy was able to get behind.Elk chased him round and round, finally got tired of it.

Bison calf is different, some, the parents won't ever have anything to do with, if they can smell human on them.

But this Bear could of been moved 100 miles away, into a national park, etc

If it dies, because it cannot forage, then it died in nature.
