Can anyone share what brand they prefer outside of what Apple produces?

When I see people wearing the Apple ones, it looks like they have a Q-tip stuck in their ear.

TIA

But you'll appreciate them once you get them. I was hung up on the aesthetics too, but got over it.

You’ll never succeed in life if you care what others think of what you do.

JBL Reflect Mini 2

I like these.

The apple ear pods hurt my ears after 10-15mins of use.

If you have an iPhone, give the Apple airPods a serious consideration. Outside of apple I really liked my Bose Soundsport. They're a bit more bulky than Air Pods but the Bose sound is top notch and has an official water resistance rating. It's not swimming pool level but sweat and light rain when working out or running won't be an issue.

I got these about two months ago.

LINK

I love them. Great sound, connect easily to my phone, and they are literally the only ear buds that I've ever owned that actually stay in my ears when I run.

There are a bunch if similar ones like that on Amazon. The good thing is that they are pretty cheap, so its no big deal to replace them if lost.

I would have never bought a pair of AirPods for myself, but my wife bought me a pair for Christmas. And now I can’t imagine going back to any other earphone / headphone set

I did the same thing. Bought a cheap pair from Amazon because I was skeptical on how well they would stay in my ears. 100% happy with them. Wireless is definitely the way to go

To me, the AirPods looked very odd at first. Now that I have gotten used to seeing them, They don’t seem abnormal. The sound quality is great for the size and they are lightweight.

My only complaint from the original version is that there is no noise cancellation, but I believe that was addressed with the subsequent version.

I love my Bose soundsports. They are a little more bulky but have great sound. More base than any of the others I tried.
