I would be willing to give it a try, I am always willing to give a new place a try. But from there, it depends on the usual. What they sell, the quality of what they sell, and the service I receive. Also, what will they have that I can't get anywhere else?

As for as how well he will do. Where will it be located? Is he going to be located by a ball park or something that has a lot of traffic? People are not going to drive out of their way for concession food.

He would probably be better off starting as a snow ball stand and then offering other items you can't get at every snowball stand. If he started off as a snowball stand.. Open from April-September then sale fireworks.. He could do pretty good.

I have no idea what type of job he does, but if he is doing it hoping to end up making more than he does at his current job. It's a hell of a risk.

It’s not about me hating Pauley’s.

It’s me responding to a post that said sometimes ridiculous ideas are successful. I gave an example in discussion on a discussion board.

I hope they continue their success. I love it when local businesses do well, even if it’s not something I would patronize.

Probably a bad idea. But do a test run in NBR by Exxon. Money selling to plant baws 200+ Times a year is better than “killing it” 7x a year on game days.

This might yet be a new low food standard set.

You do realize that's some pretty bad hood, occupied by sub-human degenerates, right?

There is already a chain of fast food resturants that is basically just that...it is called Cookout. There are a few locations here in MS and another one or two being built every year. The menu is kind of unconventional, but it is really not bad if you are looking for fast food.

Cookout

To be fair, when Pauley's opened they had one of, if not the best, beer selections downtown. This was near the beginning of the micro beer explosion. I think more people went there for the beer than the crepes.

The beer selection got people in the door and then they realized crepes are a perfect drunk snack and they enjoy the wide variety of flavors.

Pauley's was actually an excellent idea and was executed wonderfully. No where near the same as a concession stand.

It would work in NBR. It's just a matter of not getting robbed.

Place in LC sells stadium shite right by McNeese football stadium. It's called Mr. Snow and they make the best snowed cones you can fricking by.

Place is amazing. It's really small. No inside seating but packed to the gills Everytime we go by and bring the kids.

That stuffed sno cone is fricking awesome. Got some oily cheese nachos there before and they were jam up.

His only hope is to set up outside some area with a lot of drinking places. Only drunk people would go for that and he might do well

Seems like the Cookout in Starkville is always packed with college kids. It has seating and a drive thru though.
