Only way to protect ourselves from “evil AI”

Someone needs to figure out how to develop AI allies
We need “guardian angel “ AI to be able to fight fire with fire
I have no idea how this would be accomplished. I just know it needs to happen
Even if AI isn’t “evil”, I fear that some AI will want to survive and decide that humans are a threat wanting it to be shut down

Maybe, but machines don’t have emotions, so they shouldn’t care whether they get shut down or not, right?

We gotta to fight rogue AI with AI. So Elon gotta build some kind of next level AI safeguard or we cooked.
Let's connect a quantum computer to a massive data center.
Then connect the whole thing to a small modular reactor.
Put the whole thing in Greenland where people cant get to it.
Maybe under a glacier to keep that baby nice and cool.
Keep the whole thing sustainable and enviro friendly by recycling the melting glacier water to cool the servers.
Or do like Elon already trying to do which is put the data center in space.
In any event, you gotta fight AI with AI is the point.

One would think so.
It really depends on how they are programmed. Some are programmed with goals. And for lack of a better way of putting it, some of them get really damned bitchy about anything that interferes with them hitting their goals.
And then they start behaving like a squirrel that's been blocked off from a bird feeder. Trying repeatedly to go around or work through the obstacle/obstruction. Until they end up finding a solution.
One AI that I believe... Navy had. Figured out that being turned off interfered with it reaching it's programmed goals. (Edit. Nope, it was Air Force. Which they are trying to cover up)

Seems like intentionally melting glaciers to cool a data center is sort of the opposite of sustainable and environmentally friendly.

My own opinion for now is that they should keep their most powerful AI creations closed off from the rest of our society and use it for research purposes and release much weaker and specific versions of AI to help humans accomplish specific tasks. They need to treat AI like a dangerous virus in a laboratory where they take extreme precaution to prevent an outbreak.

We must wear digital masks... stay inside to flatten the curve.
All this is to trying to justify regulating the internet more. They'll stage a major hack, we won't be able to access our bank accounts for a few weeks.. The branch covidians will all be tech experts and we'll have to inject our computers with experimental viruses to bring down the "evil AI" in order to consolidate control.
