Some of you Einsteins were mocking this shite that's evolving into a major threat to our well being.

Seven days later the atmosphere has drastically changed.

Seven days from now lets see how many jokers are left in the deck of shite hitting the fan.

Hold on children it's only just begun

Just because people continue to overreact doesn’t mean it’s any more or less of a situation than it was last week.

We were saying the threat doesn't justify the panic.

Because of the continued panic which the threat does not justify.

The disease isn’t a threat.

It’s the little Nancy boy behavior by people like you that is a threat.

As long as the mortality rate continues to trend downward I’m not gonna lose my shite.

By “people” you mean leaders throughout the public and private sector who are making drastic decisions after consulting with medical professionals.

The worst thing about modern America is that everyone feels compelled to take an immovable position on every topic, even though most of us are staggeringly stupid.

Like 1% of this board has any understanding of epidemiology, yet we're all staunchly positioned on this topic.

Unfortunately, people who do have that knowledge (or knowledge about climate change, or the law, or the cosmos, or whatever) also twist reality toward their political slant, leading us to distrust them. And now every joe blow struts around confidently saying shite like "it'll kill 1 million, guarantee it" or "it's just the gosh darn flu, it's gonna kill my (nonexistent) 401k!"

I can bet you 2-1 that Covid19 was around since before Mardi Gras. People were coming down with pneumonia and testing negative for the flu. The state just starting testing for Covid just recently.

I really don't think it started last week, it's been around, people are testing positive for it now because they're finally being tested for it, plain and simple.

Being that NO is high tourist destination, some asshat probably brought it January.

Those leaders are simply running a race to see who can cancel the most shite thinking it will make them look good as the most proactive. And no one wants to be last or the one who didn’t “do anything.” This is cancel culture combined with mass hysteria.
