One of the best feelings of parenthood so far:

My little girl scored her first flag football touchdown last night. She is in the 7/8 year old league and is the only girl on her team. I have been beaming all day.
Her older brother plays peewee football on the 11/12 yr old team and made almost 40 tackles and 5 sacks this season as LB.
I didn't play sports as a child so this lifestyle is totally new to me.
Crazy how proud your kids can make you.

Pffffft, when mine was 8 she was the QB of the football team and threw 5 TD passes one Friday night, scored a hat trick in soccer on saturday morning, and Saturday afternoon pitched a no-hitter in softball. I would be proud but she walked 5 in a 4-inning game.
