Of course Jarmal is going to say that to cover his arse. The detectives found enough probable cause to charge him with second-degree murder and not manslaughter.

And that's when it became Second Degree Murder and not Manslaughter. But they will plea this one down and he will get twenty years. Be out in twelve or so depending on behavior while locked up.

No wonder the advocate article says the shooter didn't remember what he did after the altercation began. Self defense is gonna be a tough one here. Of course, if the self defense thing falls through, our usual community activists will be ranting about how a white guy would've walked.

She will get reelected no problem. Nothing will happen until the decent people demand (and I do mean DEMAND) that they do something or move to a different county/parish or state. Period.
But they know that most of you won't follow through so they do what they do.
