recommend you watch Somebody Feed Phil on Netflix when he goes to NOLA. He spends a decent amount of time with Alon and talks at length about Israeli food.

Are y’all incapable of separating the type of foods NO is known for from the entirety of the foods that NO offers?

I wasn't aware there was a good part of Canal. But they were walking to grab cocktails and made the unfortunate mistake of walking near the Popeye's, so yeah, bad part of Canal.

Yes, "down the bayou" you will get better cajun food, but "down the ranch" you will get far better BBQ

I highly doubt too many family cookouts are doing full on BBQ. They may grill or so but I doubt many are smoking for 12+ hours. I am a little biased here but I'd prefer the bayou homecooking over BBQ.

Well when your original statement was that you could get any food in NOLA elsewhere in the state, yes. I'm incapable of separating those two things. Because knowing that those two things both exist in NOLA completely negates your original statement.

Except that wasn’t my original statement at all. Please re-read.

I’ll make it easy for you

have a different opinion. Was at a work fuction in NOLA last week with some of the higher ups from MIA. They asked why I hardly ever go to NOLA for the food, and I responded because I can get most, not all, of the same dishes without having to come to Nola.

you started this whole dumbass argument by saying that you could get any food outside of New Orleans that you could get inside of New Orleans and now you're trying to act like that's not what you meant.

Just admit you dont know what you're talking about

Yeah it was all over the news. I heard they caught the fricker, hoping for a lengthy sentence.

How many hand grenades and big arse beers do you usually get when you hang out on Bourbon Street the whole time when you visit the city?
