Just do a little research and try to eat at some real restaurants in Nola next time. If you looked at a top 50 restaurant list in Nola, none of them are serving the stuff you listed, with the exception of some having gumbo.

Houston has some great places to eat. I will give you that. But most of the good food is imported. A lot of it from Louisiana. It's not Texan cuisine. Texas is the first place I ever heard someone say, "That's a great pot of beans." That's because pinto beans and bbq brisket is their claim to fame. There is nothing else that they can call their own.

Yep. And I only eat gumbo, jambalaya, and crawfish here in Nola. Cant find anything else
