If a politician does it and there's a (D) next to their name, it's progressive and forward thinking, righting generational wrongs, advancing social and restorative justice.
If a politician does it and there's a (R)....or anything else really next to their name, it's a clear case of racism, bigotry, and fascism. And that person is obviously hitler.

Istanbul was Constantinople, now it's Istanbul, not Constantinople.
Even old New York, was once new Amsterdam.
Why they changed it I can’t say, people just liked it better that way

There is either affirmative legislation out there that allows it, or there is none that prevents it.

it will always be Lee Circle and Robert E. Lee Boulevard to me. And don’t get me started on One Shell Square.

Saul Alinsky on renaming and redefining:
"Saul Alinsky emphasized the power of renaming and redefining issues as a strategic tool in community organizing. He believed that by altering the language surrounding a problem, activists could reshape public perception and mobilize support for their causes."

The left has been renaming shite for years.
They can't remember past yesterday, apparently.
No they just choose to ignore it.
