Was this before or after the same owners torched Fairway View club? I was in Guard unit with Combs, told him the events were sketchy AF, guessing BR going to BR

RIP Ben Wynn.
Didn't know when to say when.
Growing up, I lived down the street from him.

The day the black panthers killed the police chief in the 70s.
For me, it’s the the day busing experimental program started in the 70s, and i showed up at Valley Park Junior High with about 150 scared to death middle class white (and a few black kids) kids and witnessed my first stabbing and murder. I was 12

Late 80s, I remember a guy who played a solo acoustic guitar set there.....he was the spitting image of the then long-haired Michael Bolton.
Then some rock band named Pangea. Played a few games of pool upstairs.
ETA: just being nostalgic with the above, but others have posted other events that represented greater change in BR. Ben Wynne death being one of them.

I walked on stage in middle of a Megagasaurus show and flipped the breakers, but I had my reasons and no one chased me out. Did my story become legend?
