On this day 75 years ago....Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun commit suicide

With Soviet forces mere yards away, fighting it out with German forces inside the Reich Chancellery, Hitler ended his life with cyanide and a bullet to the head. His wife, Eva Braun, took a cyanide tablet. The two were taken to the surface, dumped into a ditch, and burned to the bone with fire and gasoline.
That same evening, the Reichstag fell to the Red Army shortly before 11:00. The final hours of Nazi Germany were at hand.

So why did the skull with the bullet hole (supposedly Hitler) belong to a female?

I could just as easily say the skull belonged to St. Peter. It doesn't make it true.
