that dude ran in the same circle as a lot of people I grew up with and I remember his pics being everywhere on MySpace
He’s a huge perv and a lot of those videos are super cringe worthy.

He would always be taking pictures at Triple A and The Station circa 1999

I think so. A buddy's ex was good friends with her. I never hung out with her but that's the only reason I knew who Janka Joe was.

Did anyone know the Rugby players that used to work there as bouncers?
Yep. I did. Played with a few of them from 94-98.
We had our Mardi Gras Tournament Party there one year. Was absolutely nuts.

Honestly I thought it had been more than ten years. It’s nice to hear something that makes me feel not quite as old.
My cousin’s band used to play there a lot and I had some good times there. Even saw Condon in the bathroom with coke all over his nose one night. Good times...

Yes, that is the gentleman..
I remember now that he was related to Ned Brousseau, a fellow in the insurance business I knew.
Thanks.

Got in a fight with them one night. They weren't working that night. One of them had been dating the manager and apparently they had broken up. He got really shite faced and came in solely to start shite. Don't know the dude's name but we were all on the floor and he was in there just bumping into people clearly looking to start a fight. Long story short, I hit him as hard as I could and it was like I hit Tyrannosaurus Rex in the head. Didn't faze him one bit and all it did was piss him something awful.
The "WHOLE" bar ended up crashing through tables etc...and they got thrown out. Those dudes were big and strong. I ended up getting know Bob. He was in the fight that night and told me everything years later of why they came in.

I remember them cooking the 5 lbs of bacon at one time
Hahaha...I wish it was 5 pounds. We'd cook a 20 pound box each night then roll the bacon in individual paper towels for single portions. We did this every night. Me and many of my close friends worked at the Caterie and the Bayou for several years back in the 80's and 90's. We lived in the house across the street on the corner (the mini Alamo.) We threw some huge parties at that house back in the day.

I drank my first legal beer in the Caterie (9/2/79), followed by many, many, many, many more in the next 30 years.

Yeah, he was a cool guy. He looked like he was from Eastern Europe. He could have been an extra on Behind Enemy Lines.

When I played with the Gutter Sharks, it was my favorite venue to play....
Side note, I was offered cocaine there more than any other place we played...
